Sport and Physical Activity
Examination Board: OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Certification
We offer two different pathways; OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Certification in Sport and Physical activity and OCR Cambridge Technical Diploma – Sports Coaching route.
Both offer an alternative assessment approach to A Level pathways, whereby we opt to sit exam throughout the 2 years rather than terminally at the end of Year 13. A higher percentage of assessment through assignment based portfolio work and practical application of content through planning and delivery key unit objectives. For example, planning, delivering and analysing a 6-week sport coaching block.
