Guiseley School's Summer Festival wrapped up with a series of fantastic musical events that brought joy to our students and the local community.
The fun began on Tuesday when our talented musicians took over the dining hall at lunchtime. Students enjoyed their meals while listening to live music, making for an exciting and memorable lunch.
Wednesday was a special day for all Year 7 students as they took a break from their usual classes to watch a full concert by our Wind Band in the auditorium. The students enjoyed a variety of tunes, from lively Irish folk songs to magical Disney favourites.
Our Soul Band hit the road later in the week, visiting Guiseley Primary School and Tranmere Park Primary School. They performed a 45-minute set at each school, and their incredible music was a big hit with the primary students.
The week ended on a high note with a Jazz Night at the Potting Shed. Our student-led Jazz Band played two amazing 45-minute sets for a sold-out crowd. The night was a great success and a perfect way to finish the festival.
Overall, Summer Festival Week was a wonderful experience for our musicians and everyone who came to see them perform. We are so proud of our students and grateful for the support from our community. Thank you to everyone who helped make this week special!
