Last week on Tuesday the 6th of June four Guiseley students and staff took the train all the way down to London to participate in the National Reading Champions Quiz Final.
After a close-run competition we placed 6th out of 22 teams - only 3 points off 3rd place and 4 points off 2nd.
Arthur Wilkinson, Elin Liddle, Rosie P Wilkinson and Eliza Salmon were an absolute credit to the school and themselves and had a brilliant day meeting authors and getting to bring home an epic haul of free books as well as the trophy for winning their regional heat.
We are so very proud of them and their achievements, and they showed exactly what Being Guiseley is about.
