We wanted to wish alumnus Tom Nicholson-Watton a huge congratulations on his debut for the Leeds Rhinos first team on Friday night (22/09/23).
Tom was with us at Guiseley School from 2013-2021, and during that time he helped the school place in the Yorkshire Cup Quarter and win Ilkley Grammar School Sevens.
Tom made his debut off the bench at Headingley against Castleford in a game the Rhinos went on to win 46-0. Tom said he was delighted to make a winning debut for the club after only finding out 24 hours before the game that he would get his chance in the final game of the season.
An amazing achievement and hopefully the start of a long and successful career. All of us here at Guiseley are wishing Tom all the best as he steps onto the National stage.
