On Friday 22 April, Green Fingers Club were thrilled to welcome Stuart Andrew MP and Morrisons to our school garden to receive brand new gardening equipment as part of the Good to Grow Scheme. Morrisons’ shoppers are able to donate Grow tokens to their chosen school and we are delighted that Guiseley School has collected over 7300 Grow tokens! Thank you to everyone who supported us.
It was a fantastic morning and our Green Fingers Club enjoyed showing Stuart Andrew MP around the garden and explaining what they plan to grow. Supported by Mr Moss and Dr Charlton, our students plan to transform our school garden, growing a variety of fruits and vegetables. We can’t wait to see our new equipment put to use and to watch the garden grow. You can read more in the article about the day here.
