Guiseley School Festive Jumper Day Fundraiser
Guiseley School is extremely proud of the way in which our students, staff and families come together throughout the school year to raise as much money as we can for as many different charities as possible. The tradition of giving back to the wider community underpins the whole ethos of our school, a tradition we are determined to continue.
On Friday 15th December we had our Festive Jumper Day. All funds raised were to be donated to Martin House which is a Children’s Hospice based in Yorkshire to help support families of unwell children. We were so happy to see that many of our staff and students donned their most festive gear, and the mood in school that day was fun and festive. Mrs Moore's class were almost ALL in festive clothing which we were thoroughly impressed by (see pictures below).
And now, we are pleased to say that we raised a total of £956.90 for Martins House!
Well done and thank you everyone that took part - we're very honoured that we have such a supportive and giving community always reminding us always what it means to be Guiseley.
