We are seeking to recruit an experienced visiting vocal music teacher to teach and develop, plan and deliver high quality and engaging learning experiences to our young musicians. The role will initially cover a full day’s-worth of teaching though there may be scope for this to grow at various points of the school year and through additional recruitment.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading pupils to achieve outstanding results, in terms of both general progress, solo and ensemble performance, GCSE/A Level recitals and, where appropriate, in Rock School/Trinity/ABRSM examinations.
The music department boasts a suite of 5 practice rooms (including recording studio), 2 dedicated music classrooms (with industry-level music technology setups) plus additional rehearsal spaces for ensembles.
Guiseley School is full of exceptional young people. All students in KS3 receive one dedicated period to music each week and over 10% of the school access additional music lessons annually.
