10 March 2019

During the past several months, our governing body and leadership team have been exploring our vision and aims as it has now been over 10 years since they were last examined.

Following a thorough consultation process with parents, staff, students and other stakeholders, we will be introducing an updated vision for the school, its core values, and a statement of aims that will influence our decision-making processes and teaching. What we have developed is a vision and set of values for Guiseley School that we believe all stakeholders will be able to support in order to drive the quality of education for the students across our school community as we prepare them for life in the 21st century.

In response to our updated vision, we will be moving to a modernisation of the original school crest in order to celebrate our links to the local community.

In addition to our updated vision, and following the feedback from parents and students, we will be introducing a new school uniform. More details surrounding this will be made available soon.

We wish to extend our gratitude to all of the parents/carers and students who have helped and provided useful feedback during the consultation period.
